Scout Proficiency Badges Serge 1908 1909
Both Blue and Khaki Serge Badges otherwise know and Badges of Merit were in existence from the early days of Scouting .
There is no specific reference we can find as to when they finished or exactly which badges were made in serge.
It is made even more difficult to collect these badges as they were issued in other commonwealth countries.
In the early days of scouting some of the badges of merit could be awarded to a Scout Master / Leader, we have indicated which ones in the badge descriptions.
