Carpenter Felt Scout Badge Khaki 1910 to 1928
The Carpenter Scout badge was also known as Joiner. This badge has an image of a brace and bit on the front.

This proficiency badge was worn on the right arm, starting from
the cuff upwards in order of achievement.
To Earn
the Carpenter Badge*
Must be able to shute and glue a 4
ft. straight joint, make a housing,
tenon and mortice, and halved joint;
grind and set a chisel and plane iron; make a dove tailed locked box, or a table or chair.
