Scout Proficiency Badges Felt 1908 to 1928

Felt badges were not all introduced at the same time, some disappeared very quickly as being unpopular or because the work content was contained in another badge.

Commonwealth countries also used felt badges supplied to them from the UK and then went on to produce their own making it very difficult to tell the country of origin.

Backs of felt badges are generally black paper, black cloth or grey cloth or no back at all.
