Scout Proficiency Woven and Bound 1934 to 1967

The Scout badges from 1934 to 1967 came in both Khaki and Blue in color, both colors could be worn land sea or air scouts although the blue badges are better known as air and sea scout . The Badges were woven and bound in design.

The way you can tell the difference between the ones that were issued before the war, is to turn the badge over, if it has a brown backing this will indicate it was produced between 1934 and 1937 other backings were a thin white gauze, black and white canvass like.
