This proficiency badge was worn on the right arm, starting from
the cuff upwards in order of achievement.
To earn
the Tailor badge*
Must cut out and sew, either by hand
or machine, a Scout’s shirt and shorts to fit himself. Must also insert a patch,
and darn a small hole, in a neat workmanlike manner, in either of the same two
garments
